Creativity has always been my personal outlet: a way to pause the noise, quiet my thoughts, and explore new ideas. Inspired by the endless possibilities of art jewellery, I use my creativity to make unique pieces. Art jewellery is more than decoration—it is jewellery as a form of creative expression. It tells stories, captures ideas, sparks curiosity, and celebrates individuality. It is not defined by expensive materials or traditional rules, but by imagination, originality, and meaning. A piece can be bold, playful, elegant, unexpected, or thought-provoking. It can be both something you wear and something you experience.
That is exactly what draws me to creating. I transform leftover materials and forgotten objects into beautiful, unique pieces of jewellery with a new life and new identity. I enjoy the challenge of seeing hidden potential in things that might otherwise be overlooked and turning them into something unexpected. At the heart of making my art jewellery is a love for reusing copper and leftover copper pieces. In fancy wording: I like to upcycle and consider myself a true artiste récupération! Every mark, texture, and detail becomes part of the design, adding depth and character to the finished piece.
I’ve used a wide variety of objects in my designs. Some are natural organic treasures, like real flowers, leafs and pods, while others are everyday objects—or even toys. Sometimes an object instantly sparks an idea, while other times the creative process unfolds as I work. It all depends on my mood and wherever my mind’s playground takes me 😉
