This wonderful necklace has a small elegant pendant made of Chevron Amethyst. The Amethyst with various shades of purple, combines beautifully with white or clear snow Quartz which forms its distinctive ‘V’ shaped markings. This is due to the liquid to solid transformation of silica acid which then becomes Quartz crystals. A process which happens when a volcanic liquid magma cools down into igneous rocks.

Chevron Amethyst is also known as Dog Tooth Amethyst and can be found in India, Brazil and Russia. Amethyst is associated with the astrological sign of Pisces.
